PORTLAND, Ore – Portland launched a free Internet service on Tuesday that is expected to spread citywide. MetroFi, the company creating the system, launched the free Wi-Fi in Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland, as well as much of the Buckman, Lloyd and Kerns neighborhoods.
