I’ve never been a big fan of cell phones for kids. They strike me as the kind of techno-gadget that hinders creative play in the sub-teen set. But kids will be kids, which means they’ll want to be grown-ups, at least when it comes to the accessories. And if you’ve got a cell phone glued to your ear, you can bet your offspring will want the same.
